I bought this car not too long ago, it's a 1991 CRX HF and the lady said it has a new clutch installed. The pedal is too stiff...how do i adjust it? and if i can where is this part found?

under your dash you will see your clutch pedal. it has a cable to it. that cable is connected to you clutch pedal and has a few bolts on it. these bolts on the cable adjust where your clutch engages. basically moving it will either make your clutch come out closer to the floor or higher up. any mecanic can do this for you but its better if your there to get the feel of where you like your clutch engaging. most people don't put racing clutches in there car so i would check to see if that line has a snag in it or in your engine bay because it is a cable transmission. basically that cable controls your clutch and it definatly can be adjusted so maybe the problem you have is its loose. thats common because of use not a major thing. and mechanic to adjust your clutch will cost about 20 bucks and take maybe 10 minutes or less.

It might have an aftermaket clutch. If it has a stage 2 or 3 clutch is will be a lil stiff.

Check the routing of the cable and make sure it is not kinked anywhere. Or, maybe it is the original cable and it needs to be replaced.
