I mean shouldn't Clay Buckholtz take his place?

Geez I hope not. I'd rather have Charlie Brown on the roster. Or a sack of potatoes.

Keeping Gagne on the Series roster is like giving the Rockies a 26th man.

This D-Cleveland, OH guy is sooo stupid. Where do you get your facts? 10 million for a relief pitcher? Who told you that, the same guy who told you Champagne tasted just as good on the road?
Gagne is actually only owed around 2 mil from the SOX and he is a future hall of famer as no one has an many consecutive save in the history of baseball.
Anyway, YES Gagne will be on the WS roster because they need guys they can send out into a game when it's a blowout, either way so guys like Okajima & Papelbon aren't wasted in games they're not needed in. It's too bad Gagne fell apart under the pressure of the Boston spotlight and it's even worse they gave up a guy like Kason Gabbard for him but there isn't a team in baseball that wouldn't have made that deal considering Gagne's record and performance before he came to Boston.
Plus, Buchholz was shut down for the year because of arm fatigue and they will not risk a young pitcher of his caliber for a bullpen role when they have some many other options. Besides, he's a starter and there's no reason to push him into the 'pen now.

Whatever Red Sox manager Terry Francona decides is good enough for me. After all when Terry managed the Phillies the most games his team won was 77. Since he came to the Red Sox in 2004 he has won 2 pennants and one World Series and is going to be in another World Series in a couple days and I believe the Red Sox will win against the Colorado Rockies. Josh Beckett is pitching tremendously and will do so in the World Series . As for Gagne ,Terry Francona will use him most likely for a few outs here and there. Clay Buckholtz has no playoff experience and its better for now to let him rest his arm because he has a bright future ahead of him.

I would put in Tavarez over Gagne.

Unfortunuately, the Sox are being overprotective of Buchholz. He would be an ideal addition to the WS roster.

Great Idea ,Gagne 's part in almost blowing the whole thing can't be overlooked. He surely would have,if allowed to pitch in a game that they weren't ahead by 10 or more runs.It is my understanding that they will be Babying Buckholtz and my guess is that unfortunately we will be stuck with Gagne.

Red Sox should put Gagne in & it's pretty much a loss for the Red Sox when they do. Go Rockies

anybody but Gangne. Tavaraz, or Buckholtz. I really don't think anyone want to see Gagne again this season. Let him work out his issues next season
