Many, many, many times. Even in the bitter cold. It is very fun and people are very nice. Try it some time. Get about 5-10 people and lots of hot cocoa.

Well, it wasn't necessarily christmas carolling. I was already leaning toward pagan roots by that point. It was more christmas caterwalling since we were about 12 and had no idea how to sing. Also-cocoa. Egg nog is gross.

yes, my old church used to go a few different places every year - mostly to nursing homes & we would sing some songs for the old people - you could tell they enjoyed it so it was nice since its like the one time every year they actually are probably happy!
i am SO in the mood for Christmas!!

yes, when I was young. it was sooo much fun than. we went door to door, mostly to the shut in's, and elderly. to see the smile on there faces was the best gift of all! I think that is a lost art now.

a lot of times... when i was a kid... then when i joined our church choir. i also joined. lastly, when i was still in the seminary and our community organized a caroling. it was really an enjoyable activity...
