Earthing an electric wall fan ? uk?

I have an electric wall fan that is wired without an earth connection, it says it needs one though so can anyone advise me how to wire it up or give me a good website thats shows how to? Thanks. UK wiring.

This is a bathroom fan which i want to fit on the wall, not a built in wall fan.

at least in america most fans I have seen ground (or earth) through the homes wiring. I would imaine that it is code in the uk to have the homes wiring grounded. If not don't stand in a puddle of water and turn on your fan at the same time! ;)
