I wash mine every day and blow dry it myself. Only go the hairdresser when I need it cut. Or I leave it, but then it has a corkscrew curl.

I'd like to have hair with a corkscrew curl. Mine is fairly straight
except in front in the bangs I wear. I've always wanted curly
hair, and had thick coarse hair instead. But isn't that the way?
We're never satisfied with what we have.
I used to have my hair cut and blown into a style when I
was younger and could afford it each month. Now I tend to
cut it myself, more than not. Usually I start trimming an area
and then I end up cutting through the back and it's only the
neckline that is hard to reach and cut the right way. It saves
me the time of having to drive to the shop and wait in line.
My hair cut person has her own shop and only charges $5.00
for anyone. But she doesn't style. And she only uses the
blow dryer just to dry and comb into place. And I get what I
pay for all the time. But I tend to only see her once every
two or three months. So I'm not a regular client as some are.

I let the hairdresser cut it about every three months. I wear it really short. like Jamie Lee Curtis short. I have very thick hair and I can feel the weight on my head and don't like it. So I get a short clipper cut. I used to color it, but have not done so in a while.

Do my own......about the only time I hit a hairdresser is when I'm desperate to have them fix what I screwed up. Or maybe as a special treat around my birthday. More than one has threatned to personally come to my home and take all scissors and sharp objects away. But in my defense.....I started doing it myself because so many did such a hack job I figured I couldn't do much worse.

When I get tired of maintaining it myself, I have it shaped or cut by a hairdresser. Winter, I keep it covering the base of my neck for the warmth, summer, uncovering the nape for the cool. Letting the silver come in unless and until I start looking like a devil's food cake with white icing. Last year I let it get long. Up for summer, down for winter.

I only go to the hairdresser to get my hair cut, and I usually let her style it to see if it is different than how I wear it.

I have to get permed to tame down the natural curl and I let the stylist do all the cutting. The rest I do at home. I dont use color I just dont feel that need anymore.

I only go for a cut even then it has usually grown out of shape seriously. From years of wearing it long and straight I have finally gone to a shoulder length style. But still won't go and get it styled regularly.

I am still fighting the gray by coloring it myself at home. that way not even my hairdresser knows. I am still in denial. I even trim it myself and have been for years. Natural curl hides any mistakes there.

I wash my hair once per month. Use about one large can of hairspray on it once I've pulled it up in a bun. Then I just forget about it until I notice small flakes of hair spray falling out. Then it's back to the washpot.

Depends on the budget. If I got some extra bucks, I let a hairdresser do my hair, if not, I do it myself.
