If I were the President or a leader then I would open shelters and provide food to each and every individual and I would also open cheap stores where things are available for poor at very low rates.

One could say poverty is already ended in my country (Finland), at least compared to many other nations, such as the US.

It is a fact that in the US the poor are poorer than in most developed European countries. And there are more of them too. Certainly they are worse off the than the "poor" people in the Nordic Countries, despite constant flag-waving on your part.

Everyone should pay their taxes; rich people would be required to pay more...My government should spare some of the budget provided for protocol's activities and transfer the money to social services...I should be going to my office by bike, or walk...Above all, my government should provide for financial currents in my country to be transparent and responsibility required from the people in power should be taken strictly and seriously ! There would be no "funny" trials at the courts, only serious offenses, we should deal with minor offenses by mediation...Politicians should take full responsibility over their acting or sayings in public...

put a walmart on every corner. They create jobs, and let the poor be able to buy nice things fr a good price.
Dane poverty in the USA? hardly. the poor here have televisions in their bedrooms, cars to drive, cell phones, and are suffering from an obesity epidemic.

stop sending all the trillions of dollars overseas to other countries, and give it to the poor in our own country.the us does have a lot of poor people that do work and try to make a living for themselves,,and they pay taxes too.the illegal immigrants are taking over all of our resources and jobs and the government is draining our reserves to fund everything but the United States of America.

i would send all of my poor people to sneak into the US to work and send money home.
i would make maps and hand out unformation on how to sneak into the US so they wont get caught and sent back.
