Haven't read the book you mention but does the author actually write "this character is gay/bi"? I doubt it.

The reason Dumbledore's sexuality isn't overtly included in the books is because no-one else's is as it lends nothing to the overall story. You're obviously rather immature - probably about 14 years old? - and perhaps feel that these things need to be paraded around in literature when really they are irrelevant to the story unless that is what the story is setting out to state.

And Tango Makes Three is a children's book for little ones that has gay penguins. It's a non-fiction story about 2 of the penguins at a zoo (in New York, I think?). Anyway, it's one of the most controversial books going now.
I don't care. I will try my best to teach my children to judge people by their character, not their skin color, religion, or who they lay down next to at night.

Oh, by the way, olliedog, mizza et al., of course JK mentions the sexuality of other characters. Does no one else remember Hermione snogging Krum, Hagrid trying to get with the French giantess, Harry and Cho, Snape's love for Lily and Lily's for James . . .?

I'd long suspected Dumbledore was gay, but as JKR doesn't mention anyone else's sexuality, why would she make a point of saying Dumbledore was.

youngster's books - no longer a lot, I reckon, on account that they do no longer seem to be meant to the touch on person matters like sexuality. you may in all probability have greater success with youthful person literature (14+).

Apparently Dumbledore was supposed to be gay, but this was never obvious.

So what? why not? What is wrong about it??? Check some Oscar Wilde's fairy tales, you might find some other gay charactes, if you look properly.
