There are some harsh comments for "young love" here.
Sad that everyone is saying "Don't say what is on your heart, or if he likes it he's gay or leave off the love comments" .. how can love ever be bad?
Goodness, this is one example how the world is becoming so harsh to love ..
Give the scrapbook and if he does love you it won't matter how it's made, he'll love it too .. more so since you are engaged.
Good Luck!

i think the idea of the scrapbook is cute .. things like this always mean more to the women .. but anyway .. you should maybe change the titles of the pages ..
some ideas i can think of are:
-US
-Foreve
-Ten"10"YEARS ... and counting (how ever many years you have been together) and you can put a picture for each year
-With You "with you, I can let my hair down, I can say anything crazy, I know you'll catch me right before I hit the ground..." -Jessica Simpson
-Young Love "this is the start of us, of who we are today"
What's in a nick name? this page would be cute if you have nic names for eachother
-So this is LOVE
-Without you
-love at first sight
-reasons why i love you
im not sure what kind of pictures you plan on putting in your book .. but you titles and journaling should go along with them .. you can find some really cute love quotes at lovingyou.com

This is a lovely gift. Alot of thought is going into it. You wonder if it is too griley. I know girls that find it perfectly acceptable to give guys teddy bears. Things have changed over the years. Not every guy has a hangup that he has to be the Man every minute.
If it were up to me I would continue with the once in a lifetime project, ( you two will only be 17 once) so capture the moment. and if you want him to feel like the guy purchase a small manly gift also like a hammer or a wrench. Or something small for his car. best wishes

If he is seventeen, and not in the closet gay, you're going to need something more than just that. It's cute and simple, but it shouldn't be the main gift he gets.
He may be too young to drink, but try getting him a hipflask. Any young guy will think it's the coolest thing in the world and they're typically no more than $20 and you can get them in the mall at any age.

Sorry, this is really a present for yourself. For a guy that age, he's going to let you get that out of your system and then he's going to expect something from you in return for putting up with it. If you want to impress him, think of something he would want, that has nothing to do with you. Then he will believe you really know and care about him.

It might be a sweet idea, but its overly cheesy.
How about just the pictures without the creepy sayings?
