The saying goes... "If you're not a Liberal when you're Young, you have no Heart. If you're not a Conservative when you're Old, you have no Brains." Now, I'm not sure I completely agree with this, but it does give one pause.

When we're Old, we're often criticized that we "can't think outside the box." And it's often True! The "old" are usually more in their comfort zones adhearing to known perameters, rules, devices and techniques.

When we're Young, There Is No Box! We're not Experienced enough to Know our limits. This CAN be a good thing! It allows us to put the pedal to the metal and Go For It ! To Dream ! To Strive ! To Create ! Change the size, change the color, change the Perspective.

It can ALSO be a dangerous thing... socially, morally, physically, psychically.

"The problems of a country" can only be solved by LEARNING the DEPTH and the BREADTH of the problems, and then Working to Change the Perspecitve. And in all things, times DO change when enough people say, "Enough!"

In That respect, I Believe that THIS BOX that you're staring at Right Now will be THE GREATEST Social, Spiritual, Religious, Governmental, Technical and Educational EQUALIZER in all of History.

MY recommendation is that we All, and Particularly "the youth" of the world, learn to navigate the Internet like it's our Second Brain ! Television was our parent's "window to the world." It brought war and famine and celebration and art and beauty into their livingrooms. But it is Passive appreciation.

The Internet is Active Technology. We can Vote, in real time, on hundreds of questions every day. We Research on Live cams and in planet-wide "libraries." We chat with Real People, across all international boundaries and economic strata. Right Now!

Solutions. Just Waiting for us to Find Them.

Now, Get to Work ! LOL

Youth needs education..as with education they have the ability to do something for the problems of the country.

We can learn much from Asian countries where the youth value education.

You really cannot 'solve problems' unless you have experiences to draw the solutions from...

Nothing more than to learn and be educated. Too many people running around without an education and they end up voting for someone like Bush, or Nancy Pelosi. F*cking dingbats.
Also the youth of today needs to drop that bullshit sense of entitlement, and they need to learn to respect their elders.

If by 'youth' you mean under 18, nothing.

Children, teenagers, have virtually NO INCOME, very little life experience, poor insight, are impulsive, immature and, usually, are self-obsessed.
