The Pinoys who are preparing to have "tagayan" pour a capful of the drink and throw this away. My buddies tell me that it is a ritual, offering the first "shot" to the gods.

Since I don't drink any alcohol (wine, beer or tuba), I really don't have any idea what the locals do. But could the wine offering in the church during mass be considered libation?

For me it is cold calamonsi juice......but a mango shake is nice....The Philippines has the best mangoes in the world
