I'm sorry but there is nothing attractive about being super skinny or massively over weight.
There is nothing wrong at all with having a little bit of fat on you. It's normal.
I think people need to stop obsessing about how much they weight, but whether they're healthy or not.
Like you said you're fitter now than you were before, so that's all that matters!

After reading the attached link ("Child obesity warnings for parents") this morning I did wonder where all this would end I must admit. So fair enough, there is a minority that are lazy, have the time to have the stereotypical "Healthy Diet" and have the time for the prescribed excersize, but don't ... However, in my experience this is the minority rather than the majority. When this is put into context of the problems the government has put the NHS in, it makes me wonder if the government is actually attempting to cover its own deficiencies in its handling of the NHS by blaming a section of society for a problem in order to then later defer those people on. An extreme scenario, but possible with this bunch in charge.
If the government actually wanted to make a difference to society, they would ensure that parents did not need to work 24/7 to pay the bills and their mortgage. They would actually think of the problems society has and rather than constantly re-actively squeal at media hype, they would alter the scenario for the better, they are the only ones that can ... but I think in reality they just want to count their money and blame the rest.

yet why do no longer human beings do something approximately it? human beings might desire to be counseled because of the fact there are soooo many human beings accessible merely sitting on theirs arrses and ingesting, complaining approximately being fat, asserting they're depressed - yet doing no longer something approximately it.... i understand no longer anybody is like that.... yet there are a hell of particularly some people who're... Being obese and fat isn't ok and this is not wholesome. this is frightening how being fat is starting to be standard. the conventional clothing length interior the united kingdom is a 14 - sixteen. Thats no longer a good ingredient. A length UK8-12 is wholesome. (no longer skinny and not fat) and you're unquestionably doing what i mentioned... if all this wisdom approximately being fat bothers you - lose the wieght... and then it won't hassle you anymore.. you're patently weight-reduction plan incorrect in case you're only putting the wieght returned on.. you're able to desire to make way of existence adjustments... consume wholesome and carefully interior the long term. no longer basically consume wholesome for a pair of months and then bypass returned to ingesting junk returned - thats needless to say unlikely to artwork... And incorperate excersize into your existence... walk places... play activities - tennis with a chum (this is soo relaxing in case you're rubbish at it), bypass out on your motorbike, purchase a trampoline for the backyard, bypass swimming as quickly as each and every week, bypass working as quickly as each and every week. this is somewhat no longer that problematic.

Thank Goodness someone feels the same as I do, I am not obese thank goodness, I have curves, I don't over eat, really exercise about 4 times a week and I am not build to be a stick insect, but every time I see certain friends and family they never shut up about weight watchers and are weight obsessed, our culture has gone mad, then you hear on the news that doctors refuse to treat fat people and planes and hotels are going to weigh you and charge you for your weight, the world as gone mad. Kids are getting shot in gun crime, people are murdered by suicide bombers and your right what on the news headlines obese people. I think the public should switch off the news and stop buying the papers in protest.

I'm fed up with the fact that people will look at you and judge you before you say 2 words to them if you're over 120 pounds. And I"m fed up with the fact that it's socially acceptable to make fun of fat people but nobody else, AND , I'm fed up with the fact that people assume that because we're big, we're also lazy, unhygienic, fast food addicted pigs. People wonder why we have so many anorexic teenage girls nowdays but then they turn around and ridicule anyone who isnt skinny enough for them. People act like they're 'worried' because alot of people are fat, but they arent, they just use that as an excuse to judge fat people, insult them, and look down on them. I'm no different from anyone else just because I'm not a size 3. And my weight is my problem, not anyone elses. And before people jump in with 'fat people cost everyone a ton in health care, blah blah blah', The ONLY person that pays for my health care, is myself, and on the rare times I do visit the hospital (which is very, VERY rare), it's never ever been weight related. I happen to know people who are 'normal' size and are costing tax payers way more per month, then I have in my entire life.. but I guarantee nobody ever looks at them and resents them for how much they think theyre racking up in health care bills per month.

I am getting worried about how they are measuring this fat thing, because my hubby went to the doc and they took his BMI and told him he is obese, however, he's a farmer, so he's got huge broad shoulders and huge muscles and these are being counted on the scales as fat. It seems like the whole BMI thing only works for people with no muscle.
I reckon that some people are pretty chunky yeah, but not as many as we are being told about - and we could do with worrying about what all this anti fat stuff is doing to those anorexic girls out there!

I'm rather sick about the whole issue. I've been a fat girl and I've been a disgustingly thin girl. I personally feel better as a slim (not grossly underweight) gal. I feel healthier and more energetic than when I was either fat or stick thin.
But I really don't care what anyone else looks like, I'm just concerned with me. I just hate that teenage girls (and to some extent, boys) idolize these disgustingly thin chickies and want to be like them at the expense of their own health.

I think the latest gimmick 'warning letter from government to parents of tubby kids' is abit ridiculous. Talk about give them all a complex. For a start, come down hard on the companies which use far too much salt sugar and fat in our foods already..

i see what you're saying. but not everyone is of the opinion that skinny is sexy. me, for example!
i find skinny people to be rather gross actually.
the healthy look is HOT to me.
that's sort of backwards because i'm a small girl myself, 5'5 and quite light.
when it comes to guys i like the thinner type, then again the love of my life has the hips of a girl and a little tummy and i think it is THE most adorable thing in the world. <3
i also happen to find chubby girls very attractive for the most part. go figure.
you're not alone, obese is bad but i think chubby can be cute.
be what you are, it's fine. :)

I agree. Most fat people are far healthier than skinnier ones who eat McDonalds all the time. It's so sad when health takes a back seat to whatever beauty industries tell us is attractive.
"Fat" women were the feminine ideal for most of history.
