In the Philippine politics- Will another impeachment proceedings against PGMA prosper?

Question

There is a new impeachment being cooked up from the opposition bloc in Congress, if the impeachment of the Polido bloc withdrawn their plea. But which ever it is, would this be another zarzuela in the making? Because as if nothing could dismantle the reign of the Queen, just like the chess game, the elusive Queen couldn't be capture. Only a Queen could kill a Queen.

Anyone out there have something in their head to speak about? I think the forum is like a classroom, were debates and other intellectual things are discuss, but the problem is nothing thinks here too much, the only answer I could get regarding my question probably is just a sigh " yeah, could be..." that's it? People of the Philippines think, before you answer. Noypi ikaw ba 'to?

I don't think so. I have asked a similar question, I only got a few answers which goes to show that Filipinos are not much into politics. Either that or they simply do not care. Again, it could be they are exhausted from all that is happening in the country's political scene. Two many comedians in Congress and in the Senate. They just want to entertain the people. Too many impeachment calls and all died a silent death. Some just want to wait out Arroyo's remaining years in power. But the question is: Will she ever relinquish her post after her term or do another Marcos?

Even the people who are bringing these impeachment proceeding do NOT want it to succeed.....nor expect it to succeed.....
?? So why are they even trying??

Simple by the Constitution the President can only face impeachment proceeding ONCE each year.....when this impeachment fails....Gloria will be safe for another year.....

impeachment is a political process and is just a waste of time, money and effort. the most honorable thing for smole to do is just resign.

you know what? if only you will ask all filipinos, they would answer, we need new leaders... but the sad thing is. our judicial and parliamentary system really sucks... even a 10 year old kid knows that smole is a cheater. how come this "lawyers" are telling she is innocent...

dba po inatras ni pulido ung impeachment case laban sa pres. hindi nmn un dumaan sa lower house and i think mali ung pag paprocess nun kya din cguro inatras ni pulido kc hindi rin un tatanggapin ng SC. Diba nga kelangan kc ang impeachment case ay mag daan sa lower house at ang lower house lang ang may karapatang mag hain ng impeachment complaints against the pres. Kelangan kc ng 1/3 votes po ata un.. i cant remember... ng mga members ng lower house para makapunta sa next step ung impeachment complaint which is dun sa SC...

anyway... i think gloria's gonna stay in his paace longer than any1 expected... maybe we should just let her do her thing kc hindi na rin nmn ganung kasama ung ginagawa nya sa ekonomiya ng bansa (im not saying that im pro gloria). bumubuti nmn ung ekonomiya so far, pero na block nung lecheng pagsabog... kala ko nga aaabot na sa P43 ung piso, kaso mukang hindi pa ngaun.

magtiis na lang tao sa 3 more yrs na iuupo niya sa malacañan. kung me alam nmn po kau sa consti e ayon dun hindi na sya makakatakbo ulit. kaya kc sya nakarun last presidential election kc nagsucceed lang xa sa na impeach na c erap... interesting ung consti noh...
