Requesting you do something at the first opportunity when it is no problem for you to complete.

"First convenience" is a nice way of requesting an element of urgency to the request without asking you to drop your current priorities.

It's just wordiness. They mean when it is convenient for you.

What does the "first" part add to it, really? If they want it first on your list, then it's not truly at your convenience. Makes no sense to me.

They generally mean ' as soon as you can conveniently do it'. They are not asking you to do the work immediately or give his request a top priority, but say please do this as soon as you get time to do.
