Stay at home mother or not you have half of that house now even if it is in his name! So don't worry yourself either phone citizens advice or contact a lawyer now! Also he is not allowed to run off with a baby or son and if he does the courts will not look very favourably upon him this is why you need to get in contact with a lawyer now! They will help you keep or get your son back, in most cases the mothers get custody and if it was him that decided to break up the family that also goes aganist his favour BEST of luck!!

Seek legal advice on this issue, although I do believe that the courts will acknowledge the fact that you were a stay at home mother and make allowances for that. Furthermore, I think that he will have to pay you spousal support or assist you in finding a place to stay due to the fact that you worked at home. It all depends on what state you live in, though. Talk to a lawyer and they will tell you everything you need to know regarding the divorce and custody issues.

Ususally the courts give the woman the majority of the custody unless she's unfit (drugs, extreme mental illness). So he won't take your baby away. And even if everything is in his name, you'll be entitled to alimony and child support and may even get the house, given the baby. Get a good lawyer.

If you have any of the credit cards take it retain an attorney and take care of yourself at all cost. Make sure he specializes in divorce/custody and that he can make your husband pay your attorney fees.
