Why is it that British people have no sense of humor?

there sense of humor is equal to that of a book keeper or an accountant, why can't they just relax with themselves and enjoy life a lot more by laughing at themselves now and then and not be so serious about every little thing?

that concept "sense of humor" was invented by the Brits.
however, some people fail to understand the British Sense of humor, it's not a job for beginners.

The humour in Britain is alive and kicking.

I have found in the past that many Dutch also like our humour.

If our humour was so not there, then why is it that so many British comedians do so well?

British humour is more dry, witty, intelligent and generally more funny than, say, American humour. Sparkle's right.

Well... its a way of life. If you go to England, they have a different style of humor than, say, new york. I would say in their defense that they are more lax in certain aspects like t.v. They just look at things differently.
