who's better: Mavs or Suns and y?

mavs are better. coz they play defense unlike the suns. plus i think that the mavs have a better lineup this year than the suns.

i hate to say it...but i go with the Suns. Yes defense wins championships, but the Mavs showed absolutely none of that against the Warriors.
the Suns have an inside presence with Amare, and a decent perimeter defender in Raja Bell. Marion is not too bad, and usually has the task of guarding the other teams best player, no matter the position. the truth is they will all have a lighter load on defense when/ if Steve Nash becomes less of a defensive liability. ..cuz right now he couldn't guard the snack machine at a senior rest home!
The Mavs played defense all year long, BUT when they really needed to, they couldn't. they had no answer for the Warriors offensive attack. same thing happened in the double overtime loss to the Suns last year....they didn't stop the Suns' surge at the end (which actually caused the 1st o.t.)

Simply put, the Mavs tend to collapse when they are struggling. As the team leader, Dirk should have stepped up defensively (in the playoffs), and kept his team together on one page. instead, what happened was...when his offense got shut down, so did his defense, and the rest of the team went solo....every man for himself. it starts at the top.

Suns are better.

Well obviously they are two totally different teams but, the Suns have more raw talent. Amare is a beast and Dirk is not always on point and when he isn't he usually has 3 or 4 bad games in a row and I think Dallas needs to calm down a little where Pheonix hold composure quite well. My opinion Suns are a better team but, Dallas is really good too. I love Jason Terry!!!
