I do not actually have a dead seagull!, the idea just popped into my head as i have seen gulls floating on thermals without even moving a flinch so in theory a dead bird carrying less weight (as it`s dead and dry) would gracefully glide into the sunset hence extending the things it enjoyed in life or until it drops into the ocean becoming food for the fishes and carrying on that eternal cycle, it was never about disrespecting a dead animal it`s the same as slinging your dead Grandad`s ashes into the sea or wherever, is that inhumane?

For the sake of your health, I'd suggest scrapping that idea and leaving it alone. It's most likely to be covered in harmful bacteria... or viruses (depending on how long its been dead for).
As for the it's "glide-ability"... it may glide, for a very short distance though as its got not piloting or anything. Its more likely to go a short distant before hitting the ground (its wings didn't die "STIFF" in that positiion, so the wings will close if you opened it...) ... unless you tried it from a very HIGH place (and glues the wings in a stiff position), it may "glide" a little better... or if you catapulted it... well, it'll glide alright ... before going SPLAT...

Give respect to the poor bird, it was also a living being, if you were that bird would you like to be thrown around, be played with, something used for personal reasons, if a human body was played with by another human would you indulge yourselves in joy seeing the dead body of that person being molested and disassembled, if playing or experimenting with such is an invigorating sense then those who have such an idea are INHUMANE!!!

i agree with the gliding part, but without the bird flapping it's wings, it will soon be acquainted with gravity and the hard surface.
