There are probably a few crazies out there who think they're immortal or undead vampires, but I don't think there'd be enough of them in one place to form their own cult. - P. Edit - I wanted to avoid mentioning real vampires because the person asking the question obviously doesn't know anything about them and probably doesn't need to know. That's why I ignore most of the "Are vampires real?" questions, because what most people think of as a "real vanpire" is just a fictional invention. So of course, those kinds of vampires are not real. Real vampires do not think they're physically immortal or undead. Some drink blood, but many don't. It's not fair to say they don't need to drink blood, because many blood-drinking vanpires can't get the energy they need from psi-feeding. Most real vamps are not goths. Most do not engage in ritual blood-drinking. Most have regular jobs and regular lives. Groups of real vampires don't usually think of themselves as cults. That term is generally a negative one that outsiders apply to a group they don't like. I consider a few vampire groups to be cults, but don't think most are. The Black Veil is a set of suggested guidlines for real vampires. It's not law. Discretion is the 1st tenet of the Black Veil. Discretion protects vamps from unwanted attention, ridicule and harassment. Some vampire houses have public websites and some don't, but they all have a different level of openness for outsiders than they have for members. I'm a dedicant to a vampire and otherkin house that has a public website, but I don't think it's members want a bunch of idiots bothering them, so I'm not going to mention it's name here.
