Man, after watching the "Wild Geese", I feel like either going out and joining forces or watch more action film!

The Wild Geese came straight to mind. What a great cast. Cant think of any others right now. Back in the 70's several mercs were put on trial and executed in Africa - not such a very glamourous profession!

'the dogs of war'. brilliant action movie from about 1980 with christopher walken bound to be on dvd or limewire. way better than the wild geese

Magnificent Seven for an old school western classic.
SWAT - mainly focused on the police but there are mercs about.
Sure there are many more but it's gunna bug me all day because I can't think of them.
