Make sure it's what you really want to do, if you are unsure then do not do it. Going through your first year of law school is very mentally tough, and if you are not 100% sure that's where you want to be then you'll be miserable. If you are sure about it then you'll probably have as good of an experience as you can manage. I went through my first year, it was hard, but worth it.

Pretty much, because the FAFSA is really just a copy of your tax forms, this is the only way that they could actually see what you make, etc. Since you have not quit your job yet there isn;t much that you can do, a lot of students are just stuck with loans for the first year. There is a special circumstances form that you can fill out to try to get a reconsideration for aid, but grants would not go toward it anyway, they are only for undergraduates. Your choices are scholarships and loans.

Lots of reading, writing, debating and case studying

If you really want to be a lawyer and you think you can handle law school and the competition, go for it. Aim high because big name law firms and those big paychecks like to recruit from top law schools first (like harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, NYU etc....) and i recommend doing coporate law. There is a lot of money in that area.

Learn to write complete sentences in English, instead of using the abbreviation for Nebraska in lieu of "any". You will need to do a lot of writing and it must be comprehensible.
