Our actions decides our fate. We all know that all of us are born with our predestined fates. Then u may ask how does our actions decide our fate? If you believe rebirths or life after death then it is the actions of our previous birth which decides the fate of the present one.

That is the reason we find bad people living happily inspite of being bad or good people sufferring inspite of being good. They have to bear the consequences of the actions of the previous birth.

Athough u know the above truth you cannot avoid making mistakes because we face some unavoidable situations where we tend to do mistakes. Anyway it is all a part of learning the lessons of life both good and bad.

If by "fate" you do not mean "predestination," then our actions decide it. Even if an accident, poor health, or a homocide determines the fate of your physical being, you still die knowing the metaphysical meaning of your actions. If you are serene, at peace with your own character and integrity, and have few regrets, your great fate dies with you, though the world may remember you differently. No matter which, public opinion of your fate, or your own dying conscience, it is not the manner in which you die that is your fate except in empirical reality. In metaphysical reality, you may be remembered for generations, and that is metaphysical.

To a very large extent, it is our actions that decide our fate.It is only by performing some ' feat ' or the other can we induce ' fate ' to come over to our side and work to our advantage. Do you think it is a mere coincidence that the alphabets could be rearranged in the manner I have just shown above.? If you disbelieve me just take a look at all the great scientists ( Thomas Alva Edison being my favourite), who challenged fate and rose to great heights .Of course, you may say that it was their ultimate fate to rise to greatness. But seriously mate, without their ' feat ' do you think they could have had ' fate' on their side ? Think, think.

Our actions do have a major role in deciding our fate, but not quite entirely..... living in a society, other people's actions too can have an impact on us and we do not have much control over that.

Fate is somewhat independent of our actions.

That is fate as major milestones in life.

But our actions do influence the fate, at least in part.

So both are true :
Fate is partially indepndent of our actions.
Our actions partially decide our fate.

For the optimistic, enthusiatic, well guided decision makers they can change and improve upon their predetermined fate through their earnest, incessant and wise efforts.

I believe that somewhere in a big book, the almighty may have written what he expects form us,but I also believe that it is fully of our duty to choose our destiny and make up our lives! We are the sole master of our destinies and it's of our resort to make life worthliving...In life,we must fully accept the consequences of our actions...
