It was ok the first time I watched it but it is oneofthosmovies you havea hard time watching more than once.

I didn't really get it the first time I watched it. I mean, I understood the plot and all that, I just didn't understand the characters that much. Then I watched it again and again and ....... again. Yeah, I liked it the second and 3rd time, it's a good movie with characters we can all relate with. I haven't seen it in a long time but for Christmas that year (2 years ago( my mom bought me three napoleon shirts and a poster -- it's on my door and I wear the shirts all the time.

People like all different types of comedy. Napoleon Dynamite is more of a laid back stupid funny, im guessing that the people in your small town like that kind of comedy and you like something different.

Vote for Pedro!! Heck yea it was so stupid it was funny and everyone went to school with someone like Napoleon..it was a good movie

It was okay, worth sitting through because most people can relate to the characters and it totally creates an uncommon satire (funny version) of high school with lame jokes.
Made me chuckle, so id give it a 3.5 out of 5.

I didn't like it the first time that I saw it, only because their house looked like my house in 1985 inside and out, and that I had some of the clothes that he was wearing. I didn't think it was cool that all of that stuff was what made him kind of a loser. After I got over that fact I went back and watched it again and thought it was funny.

i couldn't stand watching more than 2 minutes of it. reason: because i'm not a very patient person, so i can't sit there and watch some idiot take forever to get a sentence out. 30 seconds into the movie i was day dreaming in la la land.

i did coz when i watched it i was in the mood for a random laugh but other times its crap coz it has no story line
