I want to become a heart surgeon. I have obtained my G.E.D. and am going to Georgia Perimiter College, i have a 4.0 GPA and next year i will transfer to UGA . But my question is, will they look back at my GED or anything?, i have 4.0 GPA right now. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

If you transfer as a junior, UGA will not look at your GED, but will make their decision based upon your performance in college. If you go to medical school after that, they will only look at your performance during your bachelor's degree. You needed your GED to get into college in the first place, but after that, it won't be looked at again (unless you try to transfer with less than two years of college completed).
