the better question is not how tall are you but can you play good basketball?

That sounds like an awfull high percentage, basically that means, 1 in 5, 7 footers, is an NBA player. That seems too high to me, but I can't find any data on how many 7 footers live in the US. EDIT - 3 in every million, that's about 310-315, 7 footers total, that could actually make it true. Since in the NBA there's about 40-50, 7 footers on average. I have 1, 7 footer in the family, but we're Dutch(tallest people in the World), so it's less unusual over here.

Well if you look at Shawn Bradley, yes, if your a thin white 7 footer, you have a great shot of making it to the NBA, but your better off going to college playing ball and then after you get your degree you make the jump to the league and you might get a chance with a D-League team.

Without a doubt. Look at some of the unathletic 7 footers they have in the NBA already. These guys are horrible and uncoordinated. Granted they dont play much...if at all but they are in the NBA nonetheless!!

If you don't have game you won't make it. You need game, man! NBA just don't take all tall people. Well they did get Kwame Brown, so I guess you have a good chance. Keep ya head up man!

ur 15 and 7 feet tall??? you can play if you play like yao ming or other center dont include Andrew Bynum and Kwame Brown

well if u have a 3 inch vertical am sorry u cant..wait.....but if bradley only had a 1 inch vertical den i guess u cud make it..lol u already hav d size so if u work on ur skills ur def gonna make it

It definitely helps, but being 7ft is certainly no guarantee.
However, if you have any coordination at all you are practically guaranteed a college scholarship.

well with that height you can easily make to every basketball league in the world.But it's not important to make to NBA.You gotta have talent.
