How 'bout "Take Me to the River"? It's a song about baptism gone mainstream, and there's are bunch of recorded versions to choose from, including: Al Green, Talking Heads, Tina Turner, and Bruce Springsteen.
Okay, maybe, "Cool, Cool Water" The Beach Boys
"Cool Water" Marty Robbins
"Redemption Song" Bob Marley (also with recorded versions in about every genre).
