My opinion of nudist families is the same as my opinion of YOUR family. I don't have anything bad to say about them. Growing up without shame of the human body is no different than going to the beach or any other family activity. You, I guess, don't know about it ,so, because its out of line of your 'educational' experience, and upbringing, its unsettling. Understandable, but it shows your naivete.

Look at the comments in here , Who not in favour of nudism brings up the worst of mankinds negative thoughts?Does that tell you anything about the people in here?

There is nothing wrong about nudity. We are all born nude. There is nothing dirty about the human body. Nudism is not some kind of sexual deviance. Look it up on the internet to find out more about this way of life. And what's wrong with children seeing naked adults in an environment where nudity is the norm? We have too much shame about our bodies.

When I was a child I never thought there was anything wrong with walking around in the nude. Now I am older I look at the circumstances. Anyone who thinks bad about the human skin is committing a sin against God. No-one is put on this earth with any clothes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is perversion.

Well, if they want to be nude around the family, especially casual nudity (running to/from shower) isn't a big deal. It would seem odd that they would want to be nude in front of non nudist relatives.

It seems to be fairly uncommon, but there are families who go to nudist resorts, and they seem to be well balanced.

What god gave you was meant to be shown off, and I only mean for about the first 1-5 days of birth after that especially getting upto the five or six year mark, keep the clothes on it does everyone a huge favor, but everyones views are different so I might not like it but my next door neighbour might practise it, gladly I will hopefully never find out.

One thing it does is makes the sight of a nude human body a natural sight and not something to be uncomfortable with, in other words it promotes a healthy attitude toward the human body instead of making it something to be secretive and ashamed of, as is usually the case for non-nudists. Nudity is not always about sex, although most of our culture makes it that way.

animals run around naked. its just a body. i think if everyone ran around naked itd be all the better. be hard to lust over something so natural that you see everyday! we have the thoughts we do about the body today because it is thought of as shameful and embarassing. unfortunately this is a utopian idea, even if a nudist family had these values the world never will, and there will always be pervs and rapists out there who don't respect the natural ways of the human body!

I have heard of a family like this from a friend. But I think it is like walking in on your parents while they are love making in the middle of the night. Or day depending the age of kids.

We were born naked... and who cares any way? get a grip there are more important things to worry about.. you should be worried about morbidly obsese kids and how corporations like mc Donalds are exploting them and not if a kid is naked.. and thats why they are called nudist.. because they prefer it.. better than having all those chemicals and dyes from clothing seeping into your skin 24 hours a day.. Get naked and walk around.. maybe you might like it.. unless you are morbidly obese...
