Mercy, I just hate these general, "Will a, Can a," questions. But for what it's worth, my best friend is an Aries, and has been happily married to her eccentric Aquarian husband for 47 years now. He is totally lost without her. He has all the ideas, but lacks the practicality to carry them out. Mercy, he can't even balance a checkbook. But together they built a house in the Adirondack mountains. No electricity (Aquarian -highly sensitive to electomagnetic frequencies). No telephone. Designed their own plumbing system. Raise goats for their milk and cheese. Built their own refrigeration system (Aquarian trait) around their well pump so their foods stay longer and keep fresher than people who own refrigerators. Have their own garden. He hunts when they need things, ie, rabbit, deer, bear. Mostly though, they live off the fruits, veggies, in the garden. Because to kill, comes with great responsibility. He saves a part of each animal he kills. The mandela hangs in the living room. Feathers from the turkey, fur from the rabbit, bedspread from the bear. I am mostly vegetarian. But I did share bear meat with them so as not to seem ungrateful at their table. It was good, and we blessed and gave the animal thanks that gave its life for us. By the way, I have Aquarius rising. Basically, they have no need for "modern society" and live a stress-free happy life.
Ps. They are Cherokee.
Can Aquarius ever settle down with just one person? Absolutely! As long as you can understand and appreciate their uniqueness, intelligence, and need for freedom - that doesn't necessarily mean freedom to cheat. But freedom to be themselves, freedom to express their originality however that may be! And maybe it means moving to the Adirondack Mountains so you can live the life they envision, whatever! All Aquarius sun or rising ever asks /wants is please, Just let me be! Don't ry to make me fit the mold.
My other best girlfriend, (she's a Libra) her husband is a famous marathon runner. He too, is Aquarius. Been married for over 30 years. Also an avid canoe racer. Can't tell you how many times we went to the canoe races in Bainbridge and had to haul those canoes home.
Aquarius is gifted. Each in their own way. And long as a person can understand and appreciate that, you will have a relationship that lasts a lifetime. Otherwise, we wouldn't have the inventors, the genuises, the gifted musicians. But they need backup! They need to know somebody is at home to back them up no matter what.

Why not?! Aquarius can be very loyal but the problem is Aquarius has a need for independence so an Aquarian needs an independant type and not a needy sort. It will also depend on what time of day the Aquarian is born and what sign was rising as this will have an effect on basic Aquarian traits.

Yes, of course! Even though aquarians are attracted to new and different things, once they find the right person they will be able to settle down. Aquarians are very loyal to their partners! However, their partner will need to accept the aquarius' need for freedom and indepandance! If you ever smother or make yourself appear needy to your aquarius - they will most likely feel claustrophobic, freak out, and shy away from you. Best of luck!

Well, maybe unknown to many but Aquarius are among the more stable signs.
I have personally known many of them stay married for years.
They could however leave a relationship if they see that it's not working for them on a very large scale, but settle immediately into another one which they see 'better prospects' in and work harder to maintain it . . .
A few examples among 'celebrities': Ronald Reagan, John Travolta, Paul Newman,Christie Brinkley (lately divorced because husband cheated), Ashton Kutcher and my brother in law.

Yeah they can. But they'll never stop flirting or cheating. I'm settled, but I still love women. All women. I can't get enough off them. So I guess the answer is yes and know. Settle down, yes. Be faithful, no.....

I think they will but they need someone who will give them a lot of freedom as they are very independent, even if they have a partner.
They would suit better with another air sign preferably, or a fire sign maybe.
