I go on a bike ride through town during the day. Other days, I go to the gym and join the aerobics class like salsa, step, or hip hop. On some real downtime alone, I sketch, scrapbook or bake a cake and decorate it. I'm kind of a arts and craft girl cuz I also knit and do embroidery. My fiance sometimes can't pry me away from an art project that I'm real into. At night, I would sometimes read books by Dan Brown, James Patterson, or Nora Roberts.
You just have to find your niche.

Well, I usually work! That's it. I have 2 kids and when my wife goes for a visit to her parents house, I stay home and make up to my work :)
But, it's fun cause in the breakes I eat, play guitar, listen to music, write my blog, go running etc.

I go on yahoo answers. It always cheers me up when I'm sad because I realize no matter how sad I am, or how bad things seem, I'll never be as dumb as some of the dips on here. So cheer up and find something you enjoy, no one can tell you that.

Read a good book, watch a DVD/TV, Cycle, walk, spend time on the internet, do a puzzle, feed the ducks, watch wildlife.....
