shes mad because she was gossiping to you and you totally told on her! i guess you dont have that many girl friends since youre a guy, but girls like to gossip, but the thing is youre not suposed to tell! ever hear the phrase "you didnt hear it from me but..." yeah girls love to gossip but just hate to have it pinned on them. girls talk about other girls behind their back and act nice to their face. so you screwed her over because now she cant be all fake to this girls face because she knows shes been talking about her behind her back. you ruined all her ways to pass the time.

Well, on one hand, you shouldn't talk about the things your friends say to you. If you were best friends, that means that you say things to each other that you wouldn't say to anyone else. On the other hand, your friend shouldn't be talking about someone else behind their back. This is why you don't say things that you wouldn't tell a person to their face.
My advise is to tell your friend that you are sorry, that you didn't mean to cause any ill feelings, and that you'll try to remember that the things you say stay between the two of you.

it's obvious that you put your friend in a bad light. Maybe you forgot the word "tact" and "respect" by confronting that other person. I don't think your friend liked what you did...you hurt and insulted her more than you did the other girl. She has all the reasons to be mad, but this will be forgotten in due time, that is if she really is a friend.. afterall, friends know how to forgive and forget friends shortcomings.

Not exactly the brightest bulb in the circuit eh?

Apologies probably won't fix it. Learn your lesson...always keep your mouth shut about anything you didn't see with your own eyes.

Good riddance. There's an old saying: "You can never have too few friends."

PS: I don't think girls like to be called "chicks."

well number one, its never good to gossip about people becuase it just comes back and bites you in the butt, like it did her because you....opened your mouth and spilled the beans. you should have kept it to yourself and just acted like you didnt hear anything. your friend is probably embarassed
