I have tried a hundred times to enable it but only a gray box shows up.
Where's the fun in having gray avatars? I love cartoons but I prefer having a pic.

Mine did the same thing yesterday. I had to reboot my pooter. For some reason when I added a new pic it blanked out everything. GRRRRRRRR...
OH WELL, it's OK now.
But DAAAAAAAAAAMN I LIKE YOUR OLD PIC!!!
hahaha.
As long as you keep that pic I'll be happy.

I have always used regular photos, also. Then when October arrived, I decided to place some Halloween cartoons on here in place of the photos and since then I kept just getting 1 of 2 things, either the grey shadow silhoutte in a box or a box with a red X inside. I couldn't stand those. I kept changing back and trying everything I could think of to no avail. I finally decided to at least try my OLD AVATAR that I used way back when I first joined Yahoo!Answers. It is the only thing that will work now. I am like you, I would like my photo back on here.

Either, the Yahoo server is still having glitches with the interfaces between Mail, 360, and Y!A which has been going on for weeks now and you should complain to them about that so they will fix your account, or; they sadistically like making you look like a 12 year old so that all the cyber pedophiles will hit on you.
I go with the first idea since you are not the first person to complain.

i've got been death to alter my 360 p.c., and that i've got tried, and it relatively is meant to artwork the 1st time u desire to alter it, it relatively is meant to immeditaly be attentive to what to do..it relatively is purely that Yahoo 360 is having issues, like it has before, quickly, ur avatar would be back up, and while u desire to alter ur avatar it relatively is going to arise very as we talk..for now, i could save on with the avatar, and after some days see if something occurred..

alwez happen to me! Was puzzled & frustrated too in the beginning...
I changed my avatar to an avatar dressed up for vacation as I was going for one & it's displayed only today...after Im back to work from my vacation!! how is that??

yes. i can't upload the picture i want on 360 and i use that cartoon avatar.

Fill out and submit a 360 Help Form. They fixed mine after I did:
