It angers me that Frank Gore only gets like 15 touches a game when he is the bread and butter of their offense. Why do they let Dilfer (a second string QB) throw it before giving it to an pro bowl running back. Give Gore the ball more and good things will happen.

BECAUSE IT'S THEIR NEW OFFENSIVE CORDINATOR. AND HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE'S DOING. I FEEL THE SAME WAY. HOW CAN YOU HAVE A WEAPON LIKE THAT IN YOUR BACKFIELD AND NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH HIM. I BLAME THE ORGANIZATION FOR LETTING NORV TURNER GO. BUT YOU CAN'T BLAME HIM. IT'S GOOD TO SEE NORV GET ANOTHER CHANCE AT COACHING. BUT I FEEL HE LEFT THOSE YOUNG GUYS HANGING. ALEX SMITH WAS GETTING BETTER, VERNON DAVIS WAS SET TO HAVE A BETTER SEASON THAN LAST YEAR. AND GORE WORKED SO HARD OFFSEASON, AND THE NINERS JUST WENT BACKWARDS ON THOSE GUYS. The offensive line is not blocking well, and the are being played for the run. Dilfer is not a good QB for the system there, so it forces there offense to pass the ball. Gore is a good Running Back, and he will improve his numbers when Smith returns to the line up. He should be getting 25-30 touches a game right now.

20 yards came on the draw play that ended the first half and another 20 came when the Giants had ther scrubs in. The rest of the game, he did nothing.

Because he at this moment is only gettin 3.6 yds per carry, and only broke 80 yds per game once (AGAINST THE RAMS)....fumbled already 2x this year, and seems to have lost a step from last year...he just needs to slowly get back in the game (sooner than later for 49er fans i hope)

They are always playing from behind. Typically when you are losing, you pass the ball much more.
