I'll admit that the NY Giants are the best Tri-State football team, but there's no way they justify their coverage in the media. I would be shocked if anyone (particularly ambitious) could prove a team has won five straight against a weaker cast of opponents. Quick check says their defeated opponents' W-L is 10-23.

ITS NEW YORK. The Knicks explode in the media and they have sucked for ever. If the Giants where in Florida they would be ignored, if they where in Texas Coughlin would be tailgated and served. New York is an 1a+ market in media exposure. 2 Yankees and 5 Mets 2 Jets and 2 Giants get UNDER paid for what their worth because there in New York. A-Rod is the only player in the history of New York to actually expects to get paid what he is worth to play in New York.
Giants are average and they will always be average because of the coaching - even with 5 defensive ends playing in every formation. But there will always be an NY in front of the team name.
Giants will go 9-7 for the season and at best 9-7 for the season

The Giants are overvalued yet at the same time they have a ton of injuries. They lost there 3 suitable game enthusiasts indoors the secondary and now there beginning up midsection linebacker who's the midsection of there protection. yet even with that seen there is not any way they are dropping this sunday to Atalanta who has merely as many protective injuries, no Michael Turner and a suffering Matt Ryan. The Giants even with the actual incontrovertible fact that isn't make the playoffs and would bring about very final even at the back of those undesirable Redskins. The Redskins are putting out to play greater useful without Clinton Portis and that they beat Denver and would in difficulty-loose words be 2 video games out of the dep. lead if the beat Dallas this weekend. in spite of the fact that the Giants are very overvalued and function the main overvalued participant indoors the NFL, Brandon Jacobs who's doing undesirable this twelve months.

I dont think it is possible to be overrated in the NFC. The Giants have one of the best records over there, but could easily lose to any NFC team. The whole confrence is screwy. As far as their record at the end of the year, i would say 10-6 (could be better).

As far as dem Cowboys, i think they are the most overrated team in the NFC. They win barely against Buffalo 2-4 and Minnesota 2-4. They get blown out by NE after the Pats toyed with them for a half. Theyve blown out 2 teams with a combined record of 3-11. Then they beat the Giants first game of the year by 10.

With all that said, the Cowboys will probably win their division, and possibly go to the Super Bowl. If they were in the AFC, they might not even make the playoffs.

Dallas won 5 straight against weaker opponents. No one is saying that they're overrated. The Cowboys started 5-0. Their opponents record was also 10-23. They played two teams that still haven't won a game.

I definitely don't see them as being overrated. They're playing very well. They have a good run game and an aggressive defense. Throughout history, those are the types of teams that have hoisted the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the year. Being under a microscope in the media is just part of being a New York team. A lot of that coverage is criticism, definitely not what I'd call overrated.

They are playing great ball. Defensively, they've been the #1 pick for 2 weeks this season. Offensively-When you win against a bad team, you win the way they do, not like the cowboys. Between Plax, Amani and the 3 headed RB monster, they are heading to the top.

the big show will be when they play the cowboys in a few weeks...that will show how good they really are...last year giants were considered a wash for going 2-6 at the end..but no one talks about how they had the 3rd hardest schedule in the league...and hate to break it to u...in the end...the cowboys and giants will be playing the same teams, so it should be interesting to see who is on top

Maybe so, but they're winning the games they're supposed to win. Further down the road they'll get tested and we'll see what they're made of.
