In the QB "starved" NFC? Maybe.
Last year the "best" NFC QB was Brees. This year, Favre is doing well again. Eli seems better than last year, but that isn't saying much. Will he "self-destruct" by season's end, as before?
There's still a lot of football to be played. Stay tuned.

Not yet, but there's still a chance. He's still very young, and he finally seems to be coming into his own this season. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to have an older brother like Peyton Manning. He has so much pressure to live up to the standard set by his father and brother. I would definitely crack under that kind of pressure, and so would most people. Considering the circumstances, I consider him to be successful in the fact that he has made it this far. As far as being a Pro-bowler, I think this season will prove whether he will ever have it* or not.

Let's look at NFC QBs:
Romo - Better than Manning
Favre - Better than Manning (at least this year)
Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Delhome - both are close calls against Manning
So, I would summarize, that if Eli keeps on putting numbers like he has till now, he could be a deserved candidate for the Pro-Bowl.

The good news is that he's acting like a Manning, and getting better...The bad news is he'll have to win the Super Bowl to get out of Peyton's shadow...
