CLINTON!! He was a damn good president, and did a lot for this country. I could have cared less about his personal life.
Everyone knows that George Jr. went back to Iraq to try to finish the war daddy started which he is being unsuccessful so far. We were suppose to be out of that country years ago, but we are not. I haven't even seen any reports of us going after Bin Laden who was behind the Sept. 11th attacks!
And all people can still talk about is Clinton and Monica, COME ON PEOPLE, get over it!!

This is obviously a partisan issue and most people here will simply respond according to previous biases rather than any thoughtful analysis.
But answers such as Common Sense's - that state something as fact that is demonstrably untrue - need correcting.
To describe the current economy as "better" than it was under Clinton is mind blowingly ignorant.
Unemployment under Clinton averaged 5.2%. Under Bush it has been 5.3%
Inflation under Clinton averaged 2.60%. Under Bush is has been 2.67%
GDP growth under Clinton averaged 4%. Under Bush it has averaged 2%.
Poverty rates fell every year from 1993 - 2000. Since then they have grown every year.
And Clinton did all this while moving towards a balanced budget - not by blowing out the debt for future generations to pay off.

Clinton, by far.
Which approval ratings prove. Bush has the lowest approval ratings of any previous American president. The country's militarily, economically, socially, diplomatically a wreck due to his presidency. Of which he didn't rightfully earn but only got through his corrupt connections & family.
Btw, it amazes me that no matter how good or horrible a person is, all the conservatives focus on is what ppl do sexually. Besides Clinton's relations w/Monica, Bush lied to us about Iraq and now is getting thousands of our soldiers killed over there due to his lies (even though he dodged the draft). Yet the republicans still voted him back in because it's more important to keep gays from being together.
We should impeach Bush and ship all his republican puppets off to Iraq to fight his war they so advocate and bring our guys home!

Clinton because even at the lowest point in his administration when he was facing impeachment he still had a higher approval rating from the American Public.

Clinton, because he actually attempted to do something before the fact, even though his attempts were blocked by a Republican majority, while Bush is nothing but a knee-jerk reactionary.

notice how neocons consider Clinton a sexual deviant for having sex with a woman, guess that is what happens when the norm is Senator Craig!

Bill Clinton.
Bill Clinton was able to do more positive things without being in office compared to when Bush was in office.

It always amazes me how the rights's major problem with Clinton is that he got laid by some girl who wasn't his wife.
I guess in there view that's MUCH worse than molesting little children and being in denial about their gayness.
