I normally wait until Thanksgiving, but, my Brother and I are debating - again....He says New England- Cowboys
I say New England- Green Bay (Yes, I'd like to see Brett Favre go out on top)
We are from the Midwest. I root for the Chiefs, Bears, Colts, St. Louis Rams, Green Bay, and Vikings. (I am also a Broncos fan, but, since John Elway retired, never been the same. My family are BIG Steelers fans- the game bit some of them hard tonight, as the Bronocos won- what can I say, I love Jason Elam!) BUT, I have to be realistic. The Colts are doing well...What are your predictions? I will ask this at Thanksgiving again, as this is when we are getting down to the wire. Any input, and why? Thanks in advance!

Bjeff seems to forget a little piece on the Patriots defense giving up more points story. What he neglects to tell you, is 7 of the 27 points the cowboys scored, was defense points. Their offense really only scored 20. 10 points in the first half, and 10 points in the second half. The Miami game, the backup QB threw a pick for a TD in the 2nd half. Miami only scored 21 points on offense that game. So Dallas's O' scored 20, Miami scored 21. Cleveland scored 17 I believe. They're still keeping it 21 points or less, and they are still missing Richard Seymour their best Defensive guy!

Check how the points were scored, before you cut their D too hard. One was a Brady fumble ran back for a TD, and one was a Cassel interception ran back for a TD.

Dallas puts up a good run for the money, Vikings are going well, AP might be able to lead them to atleast the play offs, and juslike everyone else, the pats and the colts both going solid, and if GB won against Chicago, they would have had a fighting chance, but I think that game brought them back down to Earth

The Patriots will be playin in the super bowl this year. If they don't I'll be shocked. If they screw up it will be to the Colts in the AFC championship game... But there offense is unstoppable it seems. In the NFC? It might be the Giants... or Cowboys... I'd love to see Farve make it too but cmon that team doesn't got it. So Colts or Pats vs Giants or Cowboys!
So I'm goin with Pats and Cowboys (Rematch) this time Pats win a tough one 31-28 with a gw fg by Gostowski...

This question has been asked so many times it rivals the green dot question in times asked,it's to early to make a prediction but it looks like the Cowboys and Patriots might meet again, ofcourse the Colts have something to say on the matter

I was hoping for the Steelers n the Redskins, but expecting the Steelers against the Giants. so I was at least half right? thought the Cards would make may the 2 nd round of the Playoffs, but didn't see them going to the SB. the Wiz has done a good job, changing the "mentality" of the Cards. They expect to win now, and that's new to them.

Looking at the Patriots, starting with Cleveland their defense has given up more points each week. In the last 2 weeks they have given up 27 and 28. This is a lot of points to give up, and if anything happens to their "offensive machine" then they are going to be in trouble if the defense can't do any better than that. I think the Colts are a way more balanced team than the Patriots, but if you look at the Steelers, that team is built to win post season games. Run the ball down your opponent's throat and play good defense. I think they are plenty capable of giving New England plenty of problems if they meet in the playoffs. Not to mention, Jacksonville has quietly put together quite a powerhouse team, we'll know more tomorrow after they play Indy. Dallas D looks to be problematic down the stretch. Green Bay is playing good defense, but they don't have a run game. Really, the Giants are starting to shape up and look like they could give a lot of these NFC teams fits. Any combination of these teams could be our superbowl and I'm going to be bold right now and say Steelers-Giants

I see lots of Packer answers, but I don't see them in the SB. From their schedule, they haven't beaten anyone solid yet. I hate to say this, but I'm going with the Seahawks from the NFC. They're the 1st team since '99 to go to the playoffs after a SB, have a solid defense (if it shows up) and once the offense clicks, can almost be unstoppable. I don't see Indy repeating, and too much hype on a team can sink their boat, so i can't pick the Pats either. I mave have to go with either Pittsburgh or Jacksonville on this one for the AFC, and ironically, by the time the Seahawks hit the SB, the offense will be on a roll, taking Holmgren his 2nd trophy home.

Actually, it's midway through the season already. The way the Patriots are doing, they could be representing the AFC. If not them, the Colts again. The Cowboys look like the only contenders on the NFC.
