Brett Farve vs Eli Manning? Brett Farve wins 60% -40%
Brett Farve vs Peyton Manning? Peyton Manning wins 100%
Brett Farve vs Tom Brady? Tom Brady wins 100%
Brett Farve vs Tony Romo? Brett Farve wins 70%-30%

Brady and Peyton is the best quaterbacks in the league and Farve is third. He's gettin old now... this might be his last season. He got his superbowl...

I guess the Manning you're talking about is Peyton and not Eli...
If it is Eli, then Favre is better. No brainer here.
Favre vs Peyton Manning? that's a better question.
Favre has a huge history of winning huge games and a superbowl. Manning also has it, just a little less because he is younger.
Talent? I think Manning is more talented than Favre. With more experience and a bit of luck, Manning can be one of the best ever maybe even the best.
All in all - it's too close to call either one.
Personally I like Manning better.

Farve vs. Manning.....sad to say, I have to go with Farve. Manning can fire a high-octane offense any day , but running any offense under any coach, I'd take Farve. He can throw any pass in any offensive scheme, no matter who the coach would be. I'd question Manning's abilities under any other coach besides Dungy. He's be good, but without a good offensive line, could he flourish as well? Farve's proven he can already.....

Why even bother asking....its BRETT FAVRE for sure.....Favre has done WAY MORE with WAY LESS....all Favre had was Eddie Robinson, Javon Walker, Donald Driver, and now the emerging Greg Jennings and other young wideouts....Manning has had Rhodes, James, Addai, Harrison, Wayne, Clark, Pollard, and a few others...all those are big time guys.

EDIT! yes I am only 15....

Your telling me you don't remember Eddie Robinson...

yeah...Sharpe...Freeman....Brooks...those where all in his early career....when he just started....

Manning has had everyone for basically his whole career....

Favre has played in every single game and has had to make tackles...a couple Pro Bowls ago when Manning threw a pick...the announcers said that Tony Dungy was probably holding his breathe when Manning wimply tried to tackle the DB and failed miserably....I know Manning has had his back bending hits and such....but with such a great line and being like a twig that someone could just snap.....I dont think Manning will ever be compared to or on the same playing field and Brett Favre....sure Manning has the single season TD record...but Brady will break it this year.....

And hey buddy...stick to ur TOP CONTRIBUTOR BASEBALL!

The Colts will beat the Jets by way of fact they are MAD approximately dropping to them interior the typical season. uncertain who will win the Vikings/Saints game, i don't stick to the NFC as heavily. So it is going to likely be Colts vs. Vikings or Saints. Colts would beat the Saints; Vikings/Colts is a tossup. If the Colts do not flow to the Superbowl, i'm for the Vikings so as that in keeping with risk Brett Farve will finally retire.

For the Packer fan above who mentioned that Favre hasn't had anyone besides Driver and Walker - are you too young to remember Sterling Sharpe, Robert Brooks and Antonio Freeman? Sharpe and Brooks twice had 1,000 yards with Favre, and Freeman did it three times. All were outstanding, Pro Bowl receivers.

And who the hell is Eddie Robinson? Did Favre somehow play with the former Grambling coach?? I'm not sure who I'd choose between the two QBs, but get your facts straight.

Gypsy - I disagree.....Freeman was an outstanding receiver who only flopped after leaving because of injury problems.

GBP - No, I don't remember an Eddie Robinson on the Packers. Enlighten me as to who he was, hopefully with a Web link. And I'll post in football, thanks - I know more about this league and its history than you do, I'm pretty sure.

I think Favre is way more capable of carrying a team. Manning is a great qb, but he's always had a good supporting cast and a decent run game. Favre is getting it done right now with only 1 big name receiver and no run game.
