When I lived with my mother in her apt she was under rent control. The owner of the building wanted us out so he could raise the rent but he coudln t so he hired rent breakers, people hired to make noise 24/7 who worked in shifts. They were in the apt above ours and stomped on the floor, dropped heavy objects (I believe bowling balls) and did everything in their power to dirve us out. We spent the last two months in CA going from house to house to sleep because it had become impossible for us to sleep there any more. We called the police when it started but they would stop and then wait for the police to leave then start all over again. So we left and moved to FL. When we left the apt rented for 750.00; after we left he raised it to 1500.00

I live in an apartment complex,and some of my neighbors are rude and nosy.
One neighbor called the cops on me because she thought my music was too loud,and it was my birthday.
The music was not overly loud,and the officers told me to continue on with my night.

they never speak,when they moved in ,i said hello to the lady and she just turned her head,so now i don't speak either.
