I support the Democratic Party, but tonight I watched the Republican debate. I wish there was a Moderate or Centrist Party that could take the best from both conservatives and liberals. We have a long way to go until the election, and I'm already sick of the name-calling and insults. (Think I'll go eat worms!)

2. no pac's, corporate, lobbyist, or foreign donations
3. must be us citizen to vote
4. unlimited donations but public list of the donors and how much they have given
5. 6 month campaign cycle
6. no matching federal funds
7. no donations to political parties, the politicians can give a part of there raised funds to their own parties ( cause you cant vote for parties, but for people.)

This election is going to get even nastier before its over.

The Democrats have eight years of built-up anger over the "Karl Rove" brand of politics.

Senator Clinton's experience in campaigns tells her that when attacked you strike back and you strike back hard.

The Democrats have a laundry list of what has gone wrong with this country and needs correction (and they are quite willing to blame the Republicans for doing nothing about that list).

Finally, the Republicans need something to distract folks from the fiascoes of the past eight years (and the continuing drum beat of criminal charges against Republicans in Congress).

Too many of the experienced pros in the campaigns of both parties believe that scorched earth advertising is the best way to win.

Bottom line: Its going to get a lot worse before it gets any better.

Not so much fatigue, but disinterest. It's just too early to get a whipped up about a presidential election more than a year away.

I'm not a big fan of the phrase "There ought to be a law," but there really should be about how soon campaigns can begin and how early primaries can happen before the presidential election.
