Because if it is, this "Judge Young" needs to be dealt with. A legal immigrant with two children (American citizens) was told to go back to where she came from after appearing in court for an order of protection from her estranged husband.

The mother (Ana) did NOTHING wrong. She is LEGAL and has been living here since 1994. Ana went to the judge to get an ORDER OF PROTECTION from her former husband for DOMESTIC ABUSE. She fears for her life and her 2 childrens.

It's very wrong. Apparently the the Court of the Judiciary thinks so too. http://www.thedailytimes.com/article/20070921/NEWS/70920039

It depends on the situation. I'm a legal immigrant. We have laws here to abide by. America shouldn't be such a free country. Protection orders are a joke. If you're living in fear, then you must leave and get away from the abuse. Good luck!

yes it is wrong, and lame. she is a legal immigrant, american citizen and the law is equal for her too. if she wants on order of protection she should get it. that judge must be really stupid.

A judge who says that to a legal immigrant is a judge that uses very poor judgment and probably shouldn't be a judge, judge.
... and judge.

well if the mother has done something Illegal then it is within the law for the Judge to extradite her - if she is a Citizen of the US (for example) then I guess it isn't fair.
the children's citizenship is an issue however in this case wouldn't they either go back to her country of stay with the father?

Doesn't make sense if she is married with someone in this country, she is automatically under her husband. The young judge needs to be delt with and God will judge him.
