The only thing they have is their hatred for everything that America stands for,they have to turn it into a socialist state to be fully happy.They most certainly won't change their ways just because they lose,in fact that will make them even more hateful,and less rational.

Stop projecting. You're only shooting yourself in the foot. Even if the Democrats do happen to lose the race for the presidency, it's a foregone conclusion that they will likely hold onto both houses of Congress as most of the public is not too happy with the Republican Party.
Also, I wonder how you feel about a pro-gay rights, pro-choice, pro-gun control "RINO" as the likely GOP nominee. It seems that even with all the blatant negativity being thrown around from the far-right conservatives, the GOP has trouble keeping its own house in order.

Well, the polls certainly say differently.They won in 06 and will again in 08. But hey, what do I know, just facts, but they don't count do they? Only opinions count. Opinions like this question says the GOP will win, facts say the Dems will win. I wonder where all the right winged Y!A people will be January 2009. Perhaps in Crawford, TX with their lame duck president?

i have never voted dem, but i think they might still win, just because everybody gets tired of the same people after a while. 8 years of the same is a lot of time, so people tend to switch whose running the country after a while. for example, 8 years of clinton, 8 years, of bush, then 4 or 8 years of dems, then back again to the repubs and so forth.

I am in serious doubt about their "impending defeat." However, they can't really run on what they really believe and what they'd really like to do, so yes, they will continue hate-filled smear campaigns.
