Well it looks like Ohio State will repeat as BCS Championship game loser. I see a Ohio State vs LSU in the Championship game, BC will lose at least one maybe two games.
Year End Rankings (prior to bowl games)
Ohio State
LSU
Oklahoma
USC

First, what is this fascination with LSU that everyone has? They seem like a decent team, but they haven't played a really outstanding football game in a month. If Auburn doesn't try a stupid squib kick in the final 3 minutes of the game Saturday, LSU probably loses; they almost lost anyway. Second, the Pac Ten is a joke. Arizona State, if they win out, deserves to be taken seriously and maybe Oregon, everyone else is worthless and weak. Ohio State and BC, we will know a ot about them this week. If BC gets past V. Tech and OSU beats Penn State, I don't want to hear anything from the naysayers. If one or both of those teams don't, then maybe we can start talking about the one loss teams again.

Thursday is showdown day for Boston College. They must have a win to prove worthy of the generous BCS 2 spot they have been given. They lose and their hopes of the title game disappear. Right now Ohio State and LSU are both in control of their own destinies. If these 2 teams win out the rest of the season they will be the BCS Championship Game. Boston College will be passed by LSU even if they win out.

Ohio St will not lose a regular season game. The Big 10 is too weak. So, the Buckeyes will once again play in the BCS National Championship Game. Now the question is, who are they going to lose to? LSU? Boston College? Oklahoma? USC? Who knows?

I agree, Ohio State is a joke-who have they beaten? The Big 10 (11) is much deeper than it has been in the past, but they don't have a truly dominant team. I like Oregon's chances if they run the table in the Pac 10. I would love to see the Ducks and LSU, show the nation what the SEC dominance is all about!

I am not sure what will happen. I think we will have no unbeaten teams at the end of the season. OSU has played no one and their schedule is just starting. BC has the best chance to go undefeated if they can get by VT. LSU will play in the BCS title game if they win out, but they still go to Alabama and have the SEC title game left. ASU and Oregon play each other so that will cancel one of them and both still have USC, UCLA, and ASU also has Cal left. OU still has to go to Texas Tech, if they win that, they win out (only road game and they play extremely well inside Oklahoma).
Weird thing is, what if Kansas and Boston College both go undefeated, do they play in the BCS title game?
What about Hawaii, they could go undefeated?
Every game is a playoff, people eliminated every week. That is why I love college football.

I think that LSU will be playing in the BCS game regardless of how BC does and no Ohio State is not going to lose. They may not have as potent of an offense this year but their defense is that much better, plus the offense has been inproving all year. I think it will be OSU playing LSU in the BCS game and hopefully OSU will win and not hurt their own star player this year!! GO BUCKS!!!!!!

My take is this is the year of the upsets. No team is unbeatable and every team can win depending on the situation. I see the playing field being a lot more level in terms of teams winning this year, and not seeing any totally dominant teams like it the past. I also see some really good young and up and coming coaches making names for themselves this year. If I were a team that might be looking for a new coach, this would be a good year to shop around.

Keep the bowls for the teams who are just over .500. Eliminate the conference championship games. 32 team tournament. All champions of any conference division of at least six members gets invited automatically - which will force the Big Ten and Pac Ten to 12 members, and might cause the WAC and MWC to consolidate to three division of six members. Right now there are 120 Bowl Championship Series schools - so you could have 20 automatic bids. But Notre Dame would have to bite the bullet, and a little reconfiguring would have to go on. 20 automatic bids, 12 at large bids. First round losers can still go to a bowl game. It gives conferences an incentive to balance their divisions. Play just like the FCS: higher ranked team gets the home game, until the championship game. So the Sun Belt never gets a home game: who cares? But Utah might get to play three at home, which would be fair.

My script looks like this:
Oklahoma wins out
Boston college will win out including a win over VA Tech.
LSU will probably win out (though I doubt they win at alabama, at Mississippi and over Arkansas, they might lose one)
Ohio state will lose to Michigan.
Oregon will have at least one more loss (tough schedule ahead).
Arizona state will lose at least two (even tougher schedule than Oregon).
WVU can win out but can't go past a winning out LSU or Oklahoma.
In this case I think it goes to a game between a #1 BC and a #2 Oklahoma or LSU.
I go for BC vs. Oklahoma in the big one.
