5x/x^2 = 5/x , therefore no need for substitution.

integral of (3x^3 + 5/x) dx = (3/4)x^4 + 5lnx

Separate so you have:
Int (3x^3) dx + Int(5x/x^2)dx
= (3/4)x^4 + Int(5/x)dx
= (3/4) x^4 + 5lnx +C
