They are acting like street corner bullies, but they will get theirs. Someone will clean their clocks.

Just ask Tennessee if they should have played it more easy against Houston... Oh wait. Houston scored 29 Points in the 4th Quarter!!! Remember the AFC championship game last year? Pats were up 21-3 against the Colts at the half. What happened? The Colts won that game. You'd be an idiot to want to repeat history. The Patriots are not idiots, and Matt Cassel is no Tom Brady. 2 Pass attempts, one Pick for a TD. You can't trust Cassel to throw 3 more picks for TD's and get the Dolphins back in the game. It's STUPID FOOTBALL!
Patriots are in it to win. Not lose. Notice how they pulled Brady 2 different times that game and threw a backup in. Also, I believe their defense had some 2nd stringers in at the 2nd half. They definetly lightened up against Miami, considering Miami outscored them 21-7 in the 2nd half.

The fake spike TD was addressed.
The Pats are not a dominant team like the Yankees, there is parity in the NFL because of the salary cap. Tom Brady is the hardest working football player in the NFL. He doesn't have athletic skills, he just does all he can with what he has. Everyone loves Peyton Manning, and nothing against Peyton, but he was born rich with a father who was a great NFL qb, and he never had the uphill struggle Tom has had all his life. Peyton was drafted number 1, and always started. Tom was drafted in the sixth round, and he still works like a sixth round draft pick. Tom doesn't do commercials unless his linemen get a piece of the action, Peyton is cleaning up on commercials. The Patriots are Tom Brady, and no, Tom is not a jerk, he's a great player and excellent role model.

Teams come back from 3 touchdown deficits pretty often. Just look at the Lions-Bears game, or (almost) this week's Titans-Texans game, for example! Putting Brady back in with a 3 TD lead wasn't cruel, it was just smart.
I'm not a Patriots fan, but I think teams should try to score no matter what the scoreboard says. You play to win, you don't play to avoid losing.

I disagree, and no I'm not a Patriots fan (Redskins actually, and I'd love to see the pats lose next week.) I'm not in favor of this soft, lets go easy on them because were ahead, punch pulling hippie bullcrap. If the Patriots and the Dolphins are both being payed the millions of dollars we all know they are, there is no reason to hold anything back. I would consider it a great disrespect to the game if a pro team went easy because they were ahead. Thats a disgrace to the game even in pop-warner, let the better team kick the living crap out of an unprepared team and it will either motivate or crush them. There you have it, Darwinism as applied to football, who's with me?

A game is a game to be played 4 quarters, not 2, or 1 or 3, but all 4. And if one team stinks and the other is winning then play on. Quit your whinning. Your team must be awful if you are complaining. Cause dollars to donuts if it was your team you would not have posted this question

are you saying, that the Patriots should have let the Dolphins win, to make them feel better.... lmao... that's rich...
this is a competitive sport.. they are required to play, their best, til the end.. and it's not unheard of for a team to come back and score 21 in the last minutes of a game....
the Patriots won.... the other team lost... the other team can try harder and beat the next team that comes along, or lose again.. either way it's just a game....
to me the jerks are the ones who fuss and cry, because they got beat, and make excuses... it was the other guy's fault, we got beat.... it's NEVER because OUR TEAM is at FAULT....
grow up

" You play to win "...
For those people saying without Brady we'd be a Mediocre team... well lets go with this...
Without Manning the Colts would lose
Without Brett Favre the Packers would be losing
Without Terrell Owens the Cowboys would not be scoring as much
So what just like Peyton Manning everyone hates Tom Brady....
Now I figure why we all hated Peyton Manning cause we were jealous and now it's Brady's year and everyone is jealous.

I wondered if someone would ask this question. They sure are cocky and act like jerks. But do they have peers in the NFL? They're like the big bullies in the school yard. Everyone tries to stand up to them, but no one can take them down. So they talk the talk, but have the ability to walk the walk. They sure are putting a big target on themselves. I agree with you. I think a lot of NFL fans will rejoice when they taste defeat for the first time this season.
As for putting up more points in the fourth quarter, that was smart by the Patriots. Don't give Miami any chance for a miracle comeback. That wasn't wrong.

Yes! They are greedy and arrogant but the best team in the NFL so far. Hopefully, the Colts will beat them on Nov. 4th! If not, they will underestimate an opponent and be beaten in a "trap" game somewhere down the road! If not, then they could go undefeated!

I tried to warn you people about picking on the Patriots during Spygate. I told you it was like spitting in the wind. The Pats always play better under adversity. So keep up the hate.
