2 questions about kingdom hearts 2?

1. when you choose a character in your party other than goofy or donald does the character thats not in action get experience points too??

because i dont want to reach near the end and have one of them a low level

2. during the second boss fight i couldnt use valor ... why is this?

1. All characters that can be in your party always have the exact same amount of experience points whether they have fought together or not.

2. Most likely, it was because Goofy was not in your party, you need to have Goofy in your party to use Valor Form. It could also be because you didn't have enough drive gauges to all Sora to go into drive mode. Whisper B also brings up a good point, you can't drive while in the Underworld.

1. The character not in action DOES receive experience.

2. You have to have a specific character in your active party to use each form.
Valor = Goofy
Mystic(?) = Donald
Master = Donald AND Goofy
Final = Donald AND Goofy
Anti = Doesn't matter

You also can't Drive in the Underworld and can't use drive if you don't have the minimum completely charged drive gages the form requires.

All characters raise their levels wether they are fighting or not, everyone will gain expirience points no matter what.

You can't use Valor Form if you don't have Goofy in your party, you also can't use any drive forms if you don't have your drive gauge full.

the first is yes it does, both power up (that other charcter and the one that you arnt using

2. you need goofy for valor
or if you are in the under world, you cant use drive at all

to the first question idk, and to the second im pretty sure you need goofy for valor, so maybe he wasn't in that fight
