Let 4x = length, 3x = width.

Find the base:
4x * 3x = 300
12x^2 = 300
x^2 = 25
x = 5

Length:
= 5 * 4
= 20

Width:
= 5 * 3
= 15

Answer: length = 20 cm, width = 15 cm

Proof (area is 300 square centimeters):
= 20 meters * 15 meters
= 300 square meters

L/W=4/3
3L=4W
L=4W/3

LW=300

4W/3. W=300
4W^2=900
W^2=225
W=15
L=4*15/3=20
