Most of the people I know use a bubble machine and make their own bubble fluid. It is not a permanent ground cover, but makes the illusion of falling snow.

I have looked into this and wondered how to accomplish the same without killing the grass or having the stuff blow all over the neighbors yard.

I have pondered using the Halloween spider webbing (as that is inexpensive on Nov 1st, but did not think it would handle the rains on the ground, or using cotton balls (which would handle the rain, but might kill the grass).

That is why I was glad to find http://www.PlanetChristmas.com After joining the forum there (it is free and they do not spam you), I learned from others about bubble machines and how to make your own fluid.
