Nope. We can know things in the near and far future. Mainly because somethings are truly factual in a timeless sense. Many are mathematical in nature, but there are a few that are chemical, and maybe even emotional. I guess what I am saying is, what ever is solid evidence now, will be solid evidence in the future.

can we really know things that we can know only in the present (sorry, i tend to want to rephrase some things to understand it better)....
basically, i would think yes. Although we can always predict things, it won't always turn out the same. And although scientists look towards the future with new technology, by making that technology they make it part of the present.
Emotionally speaking, almost never. I'll use love for example. People may guard their heart, in fear of getting too close and being able to get hurt on that standard of intimacy, however, love is so unpredictable, that if its scents get overpowering, it can seep through the bars of your protection, and let you unlock your heart, thus becoming available to all things.

Past life regression would indicate otherwise.
There have also been documented cases of very young children, who were not under any type of hypnosis, giving detailed accounts of events, places and things they could not possibly have known anything about, including specific dates certain events took place.

We can know things, and if we know something then we know it always. Knowledge like existence is timeless. And Reality is timeless too. We maybe temporal in our understanding of things but that is us not the things themselves.
