Yes, absolutely. I believe we are watching something special here. Just as we watch Tiger play golf, Moss may be a once in a lifetime type of reciever. A special talent.

No.

NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Don't get me wrong. Randy Moss is good when he actually plays. Let's not forget how he laid down in Oakland. He doesn't have the heart and soul of the all time great receivers that played in times when the rules didn't favor the offense like it does today. I respect Moss' talent, but not his attitude going back to Minnesota. He is also benefitting now from Brady and a great team. I doubt he would give as much effort if he were traded to Miami. We would have quite a different series of questions about him I think in that case.

Look man, I'm a Patriots fan and have been a huge fan of Moss since his days catching passes from Chad Pennington at Marshall but lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Don't forget about Jerry Rice, the best receiver in NFL history as far as I'm concerned.

Randy Moss is one of the great big play recievers of all time. I don't think anyone is in the same class as Jerry Rice. Rice always came through in the big games so I think that Moss still has a ways to go.

Hmm... he's doing great with New England and obviously was impressive when he came into the league as a Viking, but to be considered the best EVER I don't believe that under any circumstances you can half *** it in practice and games the way he did in Oakland. I understand that the other members of that offense (and the entire team) weren't as capable as the vikings and patriots; but while that explains a drop in numbers, it cannot excuse such a dramatic drop in effort. Too many other athelets give it all they've got every single week of their career for me to recognize Moss as the single best ever at his position.

NO! That title belongs to the incomperable JERRY RICE!!!
Moss is very good, as long as he's on a "good team"(like the Patriots). When he's on a bad team(Raiders), he does'nt "commit" himself.
Moss does'nt have the "work ethic" of a Jerry Rice. Rice worked hard at every team he played for. "Excellence" is Jerry's mind-set in every thing he does, because he wants to be the best at whatever he does. Moss does'nt have that level of "commitment" in his heart.
Prove me wrong? Moss can't.

Nope. He isn't better than Don Maynard. At least he won a Super Bowl with the Jets which Moss hasn't done.

Did you just start watching football this year? That guy has sucked for the last 3 years. Please refrain from using language that should be limited to guys like Jerry Rice and Marvin Harrison.

Sorry man, when he starts getting into Mr. Rice's rarified air, only THEN will he be "The Best"... Stats are kept for a reason, not just to track a person but to justify who is "The Best"...

Hope we didn't hurt your feelings...

He has the talent to make a run, but he would have needed to start 10 years ago to overtake the records set by Jerry Rice
