Your question cannot be answered with the type of precision you desire. I agree with your thinking that France, Germany and Britain were three great powers, but they cannot be conveniently placed in numerical order. Russia, the U.S, and even the Austro-Hungarian Empire, to a lesser extent, was a great power.

A great power has the ability to influence events and other nations through military, industrial, economic or political muscle. Thus, all of these nations were "great powers."

The three you named were certainly economic and military powerhouses. The United States would also be included, but it came late to the game and so should not probably stand except your question merely asks for the three great powers of WWI and so the U.S. comes back into play.

Perhaps you should focus your question in two parts: Who were the Great Powers of the Western Alliance and who were the Great Powers of the Central Alliance? It might be easier to come to terms with England, France, and the U.S. for the former and Germany, Austro-Hungary, and Ottoman Empire for the latter.
Regards

Germany was the strongest power of all, followed by the US and Britain. If someone asks it was the US that financed the Allied war effort in WWI and although France had a larger army it was the US and Britain that had the resources to fight the longer war that was required.

Neither Britain or France had the power to find off Germany by themselves.

If you have not been given the classroom material on the US's importance to the Allied effort and are strictly focused on battlefield capability it would be Germany, France and then Britain, again in that order with possibly Russia edging Britain out, even though they got crushed by 1917.

Germany, Britain and France were the 3 great powers of WWI until 1917 when the US entered the conflict. The other powers to note would be Russia until 1917 and the Austro Hungarian and Ottoman Empires(but these 3 were waning powers)

Britain (UK), France, and Russia, known as the Triple Alliance,
or Triple Entente, were the greatest military powers on this side.
Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire were
on the Central Powers side, sometimes called the Quadruple Alliance.
The Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria did not join until after World War I had begun, the Ottomans wanted desperately to side with the Triple
Alliance for protection, but Britain and France turned them down,
forcing them to side with the Germans, a mistake we're still paying for in Western alliances.
The United States of America declared war on Germany in 1917 on the grounds that Germany had violated U.S. neutrality by attacking
international shipping and because of the Zimmermann Telegram sent to Mexico.
The U.S. entered the war as an "associated power", rather than as a
formal ally of France and the United Kingdom, in order to avoid
"foreign entanglements".
Although the Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria severed relations with the United States, neither declared war on her.
Of course Japan was another important member of the Triple Entente
and Belgium, Serbia, Greece, Montenegro, and Romania were
secondary members of the Entente.

So you see, it is subjective who was the most powerful, each
brought their own strengths and weaknesses to the battle field,
if we want to look at strength or power by who won, Britain and France were, along with Russia, who ended up with a revolution straight after which scattered their power structure and the U.S.
because of her vast resources.

Actually, the whole thing was a problem with the Austro-Hungarian Empire, squabbling about the slow miserable death of the Ottoman Empire, so those powers were not inconsequential. However, they both folded quickly. Russia also played a role until it folded under the weight of the communist revolution. As far as the real, prolonged fighting forces, I'd say you've got it about right.
