Im a die hard Cleveland fan. I will root for the Rockies, but not because the Sox beat the Tribe. When NY & Boston were having all those great playoff series several years ago, I just kind of took a side with the Yankees & through that I rooted against the Sox which has stayed with me pretty much no matter who they play...I really dont have a good reason & life is too short to spend hating something like a baseball team but its fun to care who wins or loses so I pick a side.

As an Indians fan I will be rooting for the Rockies. The guys on the major league roster voted a full playoff share to Amanda Coolbaugh, whose husband, Mike Coolbaugh, was killed when hit by a foul ball while coaching first base for the Rockies' Double-A Tulsa squad on July 22.
I will be rooting against the Red Sox because I hate Josh Beckett. He's got major league talent and a bush league mentality...the exchange between he and Lofton made me lose all respect I may have had for him as a person. Lofton has been flipping his bat down on home plate when he walks since before Beckett was in high school and no other pitcher, until Beckett has had a problem with it. He is the epitome of bush league...

Some will some wont.
Some people will think that they would be somehow "avenged" if the Sox lost.
Others will think that if the team that beat them goes all the way then they can say "well we lost to the #1 team"
And others are probably captivated by the Rockies as they are a very good team

A lot of them don't seem to be fairly Indian lovers, they only consider well by means of taunting folks over the web. I can assurance that if the ranking was once reversed a few of these identical folks might be posing as Sox lovers and taunting Indian lovers. If the Angels or the Yankees or the Tigers or the Mariners or some other group was once down 7-zero, they might be on right here taunting that group's lovers whilst posing as the contest. Don't allow them to hassle you. I've by no means purchased the explanantion of "I have some thing to be cocky approximately" that a few folks use considering the fact that their group has received a World Series. The folks doing the taunting had not anything to do with it, instead of being fortunate adequate to be a fan. Really all they are doing is attempting to latch directly to the accomplishments of others.

I'll go with the league. Red Sox. I won't be unhappy at all if the Rockies win, either, but I'm pulling for the team that beat us.

About the Redsox not having classy fans, no fans are classy teams are classy. second of all if there is sucha thing as a classy fan i am proud to say us New England fans are the least classy. Would you rather be classy or be the region with the most successful teams of the past half century.

I think if they could watch the Sox celebrate tonight on NESN and see what a great bunch they are, they would route for them ,but if they are watching Joe and Tim then they probably will suck up to the Rockies.

I wanted to see the indians win it though i am a Padres fan. The story of the Rockies, to my dismay is at least intriguing. It will be fun to ride along with them, at least Colorado has classy fans, same cant be said about the redsox.
